Cooper Tire Reviews
I purchased a set of these tires at 41,600 miles. Two of the four tires failed at 51K, and were replaced under warranty. I now have 64,800 miles on my van and all four tires are worn out. The vehicle has been alligned 3 times since purchasing the tires, so alignment is not the problem. I got less than 35K on the original two tires. They are practically slicks! I will NEVER so long as I live buy another set of Cooper tires: not at any price!
Have been using Cooper CS4 tires on my two Suzuki esteems for years. I always got nearly 55,000 mile service from all three sets purchased. Purchased CS3 tires the last time since CS4 has been discontinued. Less than 31,000 miles the tires are worn out on a properly aligned vehicle on perfectly balanced set of tires. NEVER AGAIN !!!! I am done with Cooper tires!!!!
I started using Cooper Tires for our fleet of vehicles at my company after many complaints of poor grip in the wet from other tires. I stated using these tires on our Nissan Sentras. After no complaints I put a set on my personal car. 1998 BMW 323is. These are great tires. I live in the mountains so I drive about 100 miles a day. These tires hold the road great even in the wet. I push my car hard in the twisty mountains and I have no issues with grip. These tire are comparable to the Michelin Pilots I did have but can no longer get. Great price as well. Highly recommend them to any one. The CS5 are great too with Mini vans.
Tire is not quiet. Would not purchase again. Noise effects overall rating of tire.
I got 4 tires for a 2014 kia forte put them on around the 25000 mile mark. Now have just over 54000 miles and the tires are below the wear bar indicators. Tires were maintained and rotated every 5000 to 7000 miles and every tire has the same amount of tread to the 32nd of the inch I would say they are no good
I had a set of the Cooper CS3 installed on my Subaru Impreza just yesterday drove to the rain this morning standing puddles of water tired never wavered a bit it held the road just as if it was dry the ride is greatly improved from the stock OEM Yokohama Avid s33 that came on the car 17000 miles tires were gone. so far I love the rain I love how it handles in the Rain the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I have not driven it in the snow yet but from the way it looks these tires preform great in the snow. The reason the three on the teadwear is I haven't had him that long I don't know and I didn't mark anything on the durability because I do not know that yet but I will be updating my review later
Put a set of 215-70-15's on my 99 Pontiac Montana a few months back and I like them a lot. Improved handling, good gas mileage, good traction in heavy rain. Drove through three blizzards so far this winter, haven't gotten stuck once. Overall a very good tire. I do mostly poor condition secondary roads and highways driving. 30 miles one way to work. Nice quiet ride, good handling. No complaints from me.
This tire is terrible. I paid so much money 5 months ago to get this tire . Now, i have to replace them. Dont waste your money on this .
3 years and 80000 miles on the current set of CS3's. In that time never a complaint. It's time to replace them. No question what I to buy.
I purchased these tires in 195-65-15 for an old Nissan Altima. My local tire shop had a sale going. Cooper tires have always been quality. I have not run into a Cooper ind Don't like. But the CS3 really takes the cake. The ride is perfect. No road noise (put on my old car with over 200k on it). Wet and snowy weather, that is the place these tires really take the cake. I drive freeway/mountain roads in central and northern Utah. These tires are all about wet weather traction. In snow and freezing weather these tires did fantastic. Rainy and standing water...nailed it! I had to replace the car due to mechanical issues. Unfortunately my new car won't fit the old car tires...almost 30k miles on the Cooper set and they look new. I will be buying his tire for all my cars. Kids cars. Moms car. Thank you Cooper for a well engeneared and designed tire. P.S. I am not paid by Cooper. I just love these tires and the Cooper brand. They have always done me well.
